"I bought a mare towards the end of May of 2024. A fantastic mare. Exactly what I was looking for after retiring my best girl. Had made a couple jackpot runs on her in June. No issues. 2nd day of a 3 day super show, we make our run, she starts coughing before I even get off of her. I knew immediately she was bleeding. Our vet was the onsite vet for the show, so I rushed her right over to them. By the time I got over there she

had a trickle of blood come out of her right nostril. Antibiotics and time off. A couple months later we go to a 2 day jackpot. The 2nd day she bleeds on me through 5cc Lasix. Antibiotics and time off again. End of October, it’s our last event before our winter hiatus and she bleeds on the 3rd day through 7.5 cc Lasix. I’m thinking we may have to retire her and I just bought her. I was devastated and defeated. In February I did the three loading doses of EquiFlow. She never bled once all season on 5cc of Lasix. I’m not willing to take the chance of not giving her Lasix, but she didn’t cough a single time after any runs all year which was always her tell-tale sign. I am so grateful for EquiFlow!
