From Retired to Running with EquiFlow
"Amber Lena Boonsmal—better known as Holly—is a 17-year-old former Reined Cow Horse who later transitioned to barrel racing. She was retired in April 2023 after being diagnosed with Inflammatory Airway Disease. The year prior, Holly had also been diagnosed with Cushing’s and was responding well to medication; however, because of the Cushing’s, she was unable to receive steroids for her airway condition, and
alternative procedures were cost-prohibitive. Since starting EquiFlow, everything has changed. After completing the two loading doses and moving to monthly maintenance, Holly is back to running barrels. She willingly enters the arena, no longer runs out of air midway through her run, and recovers her breathing incredibly fast afterward. I’m truly amazed by the difference."
