Cleared Chronic Cough with EquiFlow
"Around May of this year, one of my horses started coughing. The cough started off random, coughing now and then at rest. It progressively got worse and every time I would ride him he would have multiple coughs in the beginning of picking up a trot. A few weeks later, the cough was accompanied by a thick clear mucus coming from both nostrils. I ran a course of SMZ through him, and in the end he was still coughing with mucus.
Around this same time, I was at a show with a vet onsite, so I decided to have him scoped. It was found that he had blisters in his throat and excess mucus production caused by allergies. I was told these blisters will clear up, in the meantime he was put on TriHist and I added lysine to his diet. Over the course of several weeks, the coughing and mucus production stuck around. Around the end of July the coughing and nasal discharge was still ongoing and I felt bad continuing to ride him since he was struggling to breathe. I reached out to Chris with EquiFlow by ReCellerate to ask if they had any success for the same type of issues.
After speaking with him, I decided to give it a try and ordered two doses. I did two doses over 8 days and was on complete rest. I connected with Chris again around 10 days after the second dose telling him that I had seen significant improvement for the nasal discharge, but the coughing was still present when I rode him. After discussion, we decided to do two more doses on a different nebulizing speed changing our protocol plan a little. About two and a half weeks after the fourth dose my horses cough and nasal discharge had cleared up completely. To this day in November, the nasal discharge and coughing are still gone. Thanks to this product I have a horse that can be ridden without constantly coughing and excess mucus production."
